Currently taking a short break. Below is the experience I gained from working on itch.io projects in the month of August 2024.
Game making/programming experience
Finished five games for five jams in the month of August:
Unity projects: The Pumpking, Molten Mayhem
Godot projects: Dying Factory, Fortune Roller
JavaScript (no-engine) project: Below Deck Black Jack
3d/Blender experience
All the 3d assets in Fortune Roller were done by me in Blender using a single wood texture and a spiral PNG.
The 3d work in Molten Mayhem was all done by me, except the Stone Man model. Notably, I made a custom shader in Unity for the animated lava, using noise nodes and colour nodes.
Javascript experience
The Below Deck Black Jack game was written completely from scratch using JavaScript with HTML5. No game engine was used. The code is open source and on GitHub.
